Hi, I’m Bridget!
Hey you, good to have you here and I am here to let you it is possible to work on your personal growth with motherhood.
I am first; human, before wife and mum.
I’ve got two lovely girls which I’m lucky to have and I am very passionate about personal growth in motherhood. This is because of what I experienced firsthand trying to find my way alone as a new mum.
I had two babies in three years and being a stay-at-home mum during that period, I panicked for two reasons;
One; I started to realize my kids were growing, and needing me less.
Two; I needed to figure out what to do with myself.
Shouldn’t I also be growing as a mum? What is next for me?
I got on the internet looking for where to find my motivation, as a new mum/not-so-new mum, ready to grow beyond being mum alone, and it was rather shocking I found nothing.
Could it be that no other mum had the desire to work on their personal growth or they were not looking? Yea, the latter option was also unbelievable to me.
So, even if they were looking, there was nowhere to look. For a long time, this made me unhappy, and I kept thinking about how I can change this. What do I have to do to make it easier for mums coming after me? And here we are, the place to look for the push you need.
I started this blog for mums who need help to
- Finding your solid why to grow
- Help you overcome the fear of self-doubt
- Tackle self-sabotage
- Find clarity
- Getting into the right mindset
- Thrive with accountability
And find your self-worth again as a mum and more than mum
Focusing on your personal growth as a mum is difficult, and I get it. Most of us are only trying to keep the kids fed, entertained, and alive till bedtime, and that’s ok.
Although you will eventually get there with the right mindset and the right amount of zeal, not in a day, yet, you will.
I believe Sharing my story of how I’ve been able to work on my self-growth will be valuable to another ambitious mum, looking to grow beyond mum alone
What I do/Hobbies
I am a mum (obviously a full-time job)
Then, a NICU nurse who loves her job. While for many, their job stresses them out, my job is my de-stressor (if there is any word like that)
When I’m not mummying all day, I love sleeping, reading my new favorite book, and watching Henry Cavill on my screen! Y’all, he is my winner crush
What I don’t like to do
For any household chore, count me out.
Remember one of my hobbies includes sleeping…
My values and mission
My vision for this blog is to draw as many women in,
and show them it is possible to achieve our goals as mums and not only dream about it.
Mums should have a choice to decide what they want for their future selves, instead of letting motherhood do that for them.
I acknowledge you are also human and deserve to be happy with your growth in motherhood.
I hope you have a great time here, let me know your name in the comments. The community is open, and you are welcome to be part of it anytime!
